The room was very good and comfortable. They did an upgrade because our honeymoon.

The beach area can be better and no beach service for food

- Beach in-front of the hotel full of rocks and not good for swimming. Note that within walking distance there is a public beach. - we faced an issue with checkin but the manager compensated with late checkout

The Dining Staff were very helpful, they made our stay very memorable as they went out of their way to meet all our requests especially Uditha and his colleagues. Nice hotel, big and spacious, perfect for relaxing.

Confusion in general at the Front Desk at Check-in, Staff needs to improve in their internal communications. Although the hotel had a private beach, it was a let down since it's mostly made up of the coral reef, making swimming or walking impossible. the hotel should do more to recommend bathing spots to the guests.

The staff were really friendly including the manager, we got a free upgrade which we were really greatful for, beautiful location right by the beach. It was really quiet when we were here which we liked but I’m not sure what it would be like in main season.

There was a wedding on our last night which was really noisy and unfortunately we wasn’t informed until after the band had started. I did speak to the manager who was apologetic and offered us another room and the music was off by 10.15pm.

Excellent facilities. Great restaurant. Service was great. The staff was very attentive. The best experience I had on my entire trip of 19 days including 5 cities in Sri Lanka and 2 cities in India.

Basically none , but just a suggestion in the spa there is no drinks available such as fresh juice before and after massages.

Not much. The a la carte menu was OK and the restaurant staff very nice. Otherwise I was not at all satisfied with this hotel for reasons below. This is a five star hotel supposedly and though the rooms are nice and it looks very swish in the lobby and corridors, it does not actually live up to its rating. I have stayed in equally nice rooms for much less.

1. The very poor English on reception. 2. The wifi that infuriatingly changed passwords constantly and which was virtually unobtainable in my room on the second floor (1209) 3.The entire theme of the hotel is cubism. Everything is square built which might look very nice but I defy you to sit comfortably in a square chair. The bedroom has a huge window into the bathroom for some unknown reason, and though there is a door on the toilet itself, it is made of GLASS! Unbelievable. Also the glass shower door has a very heavy square stainless steel handle on the inside. I dread to think what would happen if you were to slip in the shower and hit your head on the 90 degree corner. 4. The swimming pool is not designed for adults who wish to have a decent swim. It is deep at both ends but very shallow in the middle and a swimmer just hits their feet on the bottom trying to swim the full length. I therefore spent my entire four days stay at Passi Villa next door. I knew from two years ago they have an excellent pool and for a small fee I was able to enjoy a decent swim. 5. THE PRICE !!! When I booked this hotel maybe a month before arrival, it was about 18,000 rupees per night. I booked it thinking I was getting five star facilities for a few days rest on the coast. WRONG! I was totally dissatisfied with the place but even worse was to come. Before I checked out, I looked online at the current price per night and it was 9,500 rupees, or nearly half what I paid. I tried to question this disparity with front desk staff but they were adamant that as I had booked at the higher price, that is what I should pay, which I did reluctantly. I therefore now request for the GM to contact me on [email protected] to explain to me exactly why I paid double and what I got for my money and give me a refund.. It is an absolute disgrace that prices are manipulated like this. I feel I was robbed.

great buffet breakfast and dinner - half board option - lots of choice for all tastes stunning outlook onto beach. perfectly clean and comfortable rooms, hotel and pool - crystal clear. only stayed 2 nights as part of our trip. airconditioned gym with water and towels supplied :)

although air conditioned - the gym had a few machines out of order.

Near to beach .. good location

Air condition was not working in my room the room temperature was 27 c. Electrician was trying to fix around until 1 o clock morning until our family was sleepless. Finally he couldn't fix it. around 1:30 morning hotel said if I wanted to change the room they have only double bed room for 4 people which not suitable for my family. Finally we have to sleep without AC. No compassion or discount provided.

The location is perfect - we really did have a sea view, and the beach is lovely. The spa is really good. The room was very stylish (particularly the bathroom) and spacious.

The food wasn't great value for money, and the selection of drinks was limited. Room could have used slightly better maintenance - several lights didn't work, for example. Wifi was slow (sometimes unusably so) and troublesome to connect mobile devices to.

The location of property was just right, could see both sunrise and sunset. Loved the view from room too... spacious room and property to go around...

Response in Cafe shop was awful, they didn't attend to us, instead super-ceded to favor other western visitors to the cafe

+ Very good restaurant. The food was perfect. Whoever runs that restaurant knows what he does! (I had the best Pasta with Bolognese I have ever ate there) + The rooms are very cozy, big enough and luxuriously decorated. A perfect fit for two nights if you need to regenerate some energy at your Sri Lanka trip after a lot of travelling and lower priced hotels + Very clean overall + VISA Payment

- Booked a driver over the reception and it was approximately 30% more expensive then usual booking. As we had not a number of any local driver of the town we did take the option, yet it was from our opinion and experience very overpriced!

Breakfast was excellent, the room was super comfortable and the bathroom amazingly large and well-laid out, with an excellent rain-shower... The proximity to the beach was good, and the pool was lovely

Being a long weekend, the property was rather crowded, especially at breakfast and in the pool. Spa was good, but quite expensive for the service offered. Lot of flies in the breakfast area, even though it was indoors and air-conditioned.

The hotel is in a superb location at the seaside with many activities to do such as snorkelling, dolphin watching. jet skiing etc The bars at the hotel are very relaxing. We only booked with breakfast but then the night buffet was excellent and we had a discount and therefore had all our dinner at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. In particular, a receptionist named Priya was very helpful in sorting out our requests, she managed to locate my room and my friend's room next to each other as requested and near the poolside. We could not seem to get a spa appointment at a convenient time but somehow she managed to sort this out for us by speaking to the spa admin and arranging the appointment as we requested.

The poolside attendant did disappoint us as we had asked him whether there were any more pool umbrellas because they had all been occupied by others. It was a hot day and I asked him for an umbrella. He told me in broken English that they were 'finished'. I then put my chair under a tree bit further away. 10-15 minutes later a different group of people came and he brought 4 umbrellas and gave it to them. I do not know whether he did not understand English or whether the umbrellas were pre-booked, but the hotel did not say anything about pre-booking the umbrellas.

the hotel is in a great location and there are a few cute eating places approx 10 minutes walk or 15/20 in tuk tuk. We had a ground floor room Rm 115 and is was near the kitchen ans was way to noisy at night up until 12 midnight and then noise again at approx 5am - Just ask for a room no wear near the kitchen. The water has rocks immediately in front of the hotel however 3 minutes walk opposite the park the water is easy better from swimming. The staff were friently and helpful
